Minorities in the Bush cabinet

As of yesterday President Bush names Carlos Guiterrez as his new Secretary of Commerce hence replacing Don Evans. This is only the latest instance of the President giving high positions to minorities. The other cases would be Alberto Gonzalez being named as Attorney General and Condoleeza Rice being moved from being the National Security Advisor to Secretary of State. I'm personally very happy with this development since I am half Mexican. I think all minorities should be invited in to the tent of the administration. It goes to show that everyone and anyone can have the opportunity to move upward in life even into the halls of American power. This country should be a happy about this and not accuse the President of doing for political reasons.
