One Day to Go

Well, not one exactly, but almost. Anyway, within 48 hours we'll know who our next president is, a re-elected George W. Bush and a future of safety and security, having a strong leader to protect us, or John F. Kerry, a vacillating, weak leader, who will defer to the UN on every issue of our nation's national security and defense, making us pass a "global test" to defend ourselves. Now if you ask me, I prefer the former. I just hope everybody else prefers the same.

Osama bin Laden Tape

I'm sure by now we've all heard of this tape. On the tape bin Laden rants about our policies and how he was forced into ordering the attack on 9/11 because of them. I find this personally offensive. He talks about how President Bush being akin to a Middle Eastern dictator, another thing that is absolutely ridiculous. This will definitely affect Tuesday's election. I think it will remind the voters that we still have a very real threat in bin Laden, and have to remember that. We have to remember that President Bush is the one who went on the offensive after 9/11 and is still protecting us. If you do not realize that President Bush is a better terror warrior than Kerry you are seriously mistaken. Let's just hope the voters choose the man who can and will fight terrorists voraciously.

The End is Near

Hello and sorry I didn't get something in the past few days, but I'm here now.

With only 7 days left until the election the candidates are hitting the battleground states like crazy, and with that comes more vitriol from the Kerry camp. Senator Kerry will do anything to win this election, because if he doesn't win the past thirty plus years have been all for naught. He's spent that time saying how he's going to be the next JFK from Massachusetts. If he doesn't win, he probably won't run again. Plus, Hillary Clinton is set to run in 2008 and according to Dick Morris, a very reliable source, has said 2008 is her time to run. The fact of the matter is the Clintons don't really like Kerry and are hoping he loses so as to leave '08 open.

Senator Kerry really can't logically win. He loses voters with anything he says, whether speaking to hawks or doves. His indecisiveness will be his ultimate downfall. He said something funny this morning on Today. It was something to the affect of, "we won WWII, we won the Cold War, and we'll win the War on Terror." I found that very interesting, because we didn't win the Cold War with any of his help. In fact he was someone who worked against us in the Cold War in his days as a radical anti-war activist and then as a liberal in Congress. Do we really want someone like that in the White House?

Idolization of the Wretched

You know what gets me? What gets me is this ridiculous idolization of Che Guevara. He is touted as a great revolutionary leader, defender of the poor and the like. The truth is far from that. He was a diehard Communist who would go to any lengths to spread his ideology. He's mentioned as something of a Robin Hood type character who was completely morally right. Never mentioned are his atrocities, his killing of people, supervising or personally taking part in torturing political prisoners, and spreading revolution throughout Latin America and into the Congo. Some of the places he went he wasn't even wanted. Instead he is an icon for young people to idolize. These same young people know little or nothing about him. It is truly a shame that such a person is being held so high.

Attack of the Surrogates

John Kerry is reaching new lows in his quest for the White House.

Case in point, today on The O'Reilly Factor Douglas Brinkley, author of the Kerry propaganda piece, Tour of Duty, came on to vilify the Swift Boat Vets. He specifically pointed out Steve Gardner (the only Swiftee on Kerry's boat who isn't supporting him) and Roy Hoffman (the one leading the charge against Kerry) as war criminals by insinuation. He said Gardner was known as the "Wild Man," insinuating he was an out of control, psychotic criminal. He went on to say Gardner had it out for Kerry, because Kerry yelled at him and threatened to court martial him. This event never happened. Brinkley went on to make a comment to the affect that Roy Hoffman did things in Vietnam that will come out whether Bush wins or not. This is disgusting! Senator Kerry is engaging in a campaign of political sabotage, smearing his enemies with horrid accusations. He should be ashamed of himself.

Recent Democratic comments

I'm sure you've all heard John Edwards comments on stem cell research. Well, I feel they were EXTREMELY irresponsible. He can't guarantee it'll work, it might not work. Also, as someone with a disability it angers me that these people, these liberals are getting people's hopes up and using that to get elected. It's disgusting in my opinion. He made it seem that only if Kerry was elected would disabled people with diseases such as Parkinson's, diabetes, so on be cured. The Kerry campaign should be ashamed of itself for pulling such a cheap shot as that. It is deplorable.

As far as Kerry's comments regarding Mary Cheney go, I find those as deplorable. Using your opponent's daughter as a ploy to break the opposing base is low, even for someone like John Kerry, but I guess he's reached a new low. Also, when confronted with this, to say she is fair game is rude, inconsiderate, and malicious. I'm sure neither the Kerrys or Edwards' would be happy if President Bush mentioned their daughters had the roles been reversed.

The Democrats are reaching new lows in their ambitions for the White House and who's to know what Senator Kerry would do in office if he got elected considering his knack for offending people and being inconsiderate.

Analyzing the debates

So today was really the first day where we could sit back and see how the candidates did. Kerry came across better with style, as I said last night, but I'm not the only one who thinks Bush came across better on substance, Dick Morris also thinks this. President Bush isn't glib like Kerry, he did have a few times when he stumbled across words. I'm not going to judge him on that, just because he did doesn't make him stupid like many on the far-left like to portray him to be. He was soft on Kerry in spots where he could've decimated him. Considering this though I still say it was a draw. I don't think Jim Lerher was the best person to moderate for the reason that his bias is obviously to the left. Most of his question revolved around Iraq, not along the broader War on Terror. In the next debate President Bush has to come out swinging. It'll be tough, but I feel he can do it if he goes on the offense.
