Analyzing the debates

So today was really the first day where we could sit back and see how the candidates did. Kerry came across better with style, as I said last night, but I'm not the only one who thinks Bush came across better on substance, Dick Morris also thinks this. President Bush isn't glib like Kerry, he did have a few times when he stumbled across words. I'm not going to judge him on that, just because he did doesn't make him stupid like many on the far-left like to portray him to be. He was soft on Kerry in spots where he could've decimated him. Considering this though I still say it was a draw. I don't think Jim Lerher was the best person to moderate for the reason that his bias is obviously to the left. Most of his question revolved around Iraq, not along the broader War on Terror. In the next debate President Bush has to come out swinging. It'll be tough, but I feel he can do it if he goes on the offense.
