Thoughts on the War
Sorry, to not have written for so long. The past year I have been very busy considering I graduated from college. At least now I'm out of that bed of liberal demagogary where I was.
Moving on, I thought I'd share some of my thoughts on the war now.
* First, I still do support our effort in Iraq wholeheartedly. I am disappointed in the Iraqis inability to come together. It seems they have fallen into horrible sectarian violence from which it is hard to get out. I do hope though that some moderate factions on both sides will come together to end it.
* Secondly, the negative reporting by the Elite Media is deplorable. All you here is how can we manage or lessen defeat, the constant cries to leave now, and other such rhetoric. They say we've been in Iraq longer than we were in World War II. It should be known you can't compare wars. Each war has different variables to consider. Plus, the enemy we're fighting now is quite different from the ones in WWII. One major reason is they're using inconventional tactics, targeting civilians, etc. When you're dealing with that it makes fighting a war more difficult. Also, in WWII there wasn't the need to fight a politically correct war. Our hands are tied as long as that goes on. When you are not allowed to do certain things to win a war it greatly affects the outcome.
